Finale Notepad Q.?
How do you put Pedaling mark and staccato mark in Finale notepad?

Nope but when i don't know how a new song im learning goes, I reproduce it on notepad

Yeah same here ... I like to see how it sounds... but nowadays my midi out goes crazy and most songs play like a noise music...
So creating the staccato you need to click on the articulation tool (it is a circle with a kind of decrescendo sign above it). After that you click above or belove the specified note and an articulation selection page is going to pop up and you can choose out of 25 different articulations like accent, staccato, or fermata.

Well the Notepad has a pretty good help file ... I usually look through the expression I am looking for... first I did not care too much I just painted the dots below but then I figured it is better for the playback to have them.
