Greetings from Maryland!
Just another noob here, now 43 and a freelance programmer. I had piano lessons when I was a child, and have always had a great love for classical music except during late high school and college years when I listened to pop and jazz. I want to enjoy the instrument, so, I am playing with it, and looking for ways to get to know it. I am interested not so much in having a repertory of known pieces, but in having the kind of experience that Mozart, Haydn, and the various Bach children had with the keyboard in their earliest years, not with a view to becoming a great composer, but rather seeking to encounter the instrument and let it be a source of enjoyment for me.
