Drum Machine People??? Empty Drum Machine People???

hey i love doin real drums... but sometimes i like to do somethings with a drum machine too.... what do you all use?? i went a little hip hop vintage and copped the Akai MPC 2000.... nuthin like the feel of a good mpc for cutting samples and looping some nastay drums for my old skool hip hop heads!! live drums are great for funk and soul but to get that old eric b n rakim or gangstarr feel i go to my MPC afro
