Anyone recognize this?
This is a huge long shot. I don't even know if this song is "famous" or just something I learned when I was little (haven't played piano in many, many years until recently). But these notes popped into my head yesterday and I can't get this tune out of my mind and I have no idea where it's from! I've gone through all my main pieces and have yet to locate where I know this from.
On the off chance it is "famous" (and hopefully I don't feel like a complete idiot over forgetting), I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone recognizes it because I'm going to go insane at some point. lol
I don't know the best way to write this out...
A2 = 2nd A below Middle C
A1 = 1st A below Middle C
A2 - C - E - A1 - Middle C - B - A1 - B - MC - B - MC - B - E flat (above MC) - E (above MC)
It's that "tune" basically, I don't know if the notes are right or anything. But that part is what has continued to go through my head over and over again since yesterday.
Help?

Re: Anyone recognize this?
I've got a good idea. I found a handy website for finding the names of music (cos u can't hum into google!):
http://www.musipedia.org/
It lets u type in notes with the computer keyboard, a midi keyboard, or u can try tapping the melody rhythm or entering a string of Us and Ds if the next note is up or down from the previous one. It's helped me identify tunes in my head quite a lot. Hope it helps u

Re: Anyone recognize this?
I hope I have played it right:
http://www.frank-buss.de/tmp/unknown.mp3
But it is difficult without note lengths. The first try is with all notes the same length. The second try in the mp3 I've tried to vary some note lengths to introduce some rythm.
Try something like http://musescore.org to create a sheet from it. You can try different note lengths, too and hear it in this program and finally you can export a MIDI file or a PDF of the sheet.
