Hands Clash!! Empty Hands Clash!!

Post by iwchris Sun Nov 22, 2009 11:04 am

Hi All
This seems a bit of a silly question but it is bothering me, now I am starting to play simple bits of music from my course books, I often get a situation when both hand are near middle "c" that my right hand thumb needs the note "c" but the left hand is using it as part of a cord.
Should I be using a different inversion to leave that "C" clear? or what?

Thanks for any help

Chris

Just choose whether it's more comfortable to play it with the right or left hand. (I suggest right: it will make the melody continue flowing; changing hands inside a melody might create a small "gap" in it.)

Thanks for that, I did wonder if that was the option to go for.
