Introducing myself Empty Introducing myself

Hello everyone, this is Izaskun from Spain. It´s my first time trying to play the piano and I´m a complete beginner at it. Some months ago I decided to give myself a chance to learn piano and music theory, thus playing an instrument was something I always dreamt of. By that time I had an unexpected health problem and I promised myself if everything was finally ok I´d buy a piano and start on it: that would be my turning point. Now that I´m feeling as well as before and my piano is on the living room…I guess it´s time to achieve it!. I discovered Andrew´s videos on youtube and thought it was a great opportunity to start with ( I can´t go to piano classes caused of my work so thanks very much for posting them!! ). Right now I´m taking a look at the Rocket Piano Method ( I found it on the net, but still don´t know if it really will work with me ), Andrew´s videos and a theory music book … I think my mind is ready… but… will my fingers follow it?, jeje. Hope so!! . Anyway, I´m glad that you are here with this great site. Very Happy

Congrats

Welcome, playing an instrument takes practice, but it feels so good it's worth the time. Good luck, Andrew is one of the best "youtube teachers" out there, so i'll bet you'll be able to learn alot from him.

And with this forum you got the full package Very Happy
