Boost your brain, eat right...
Yes, this is true... I switched onto a SVT, a swedish tv-channel, and there was this guy talking about food and health.
So I watched the whole thing, since I think it's really interesting stufff. Anyway..... Brain boost ^^
Your brain actually perform better if you eat the right stuff, and I'll believe that's what we want,
we want to be able to remember sheets, dont we? And to learn stuff quicker?
Here's a link about the subject, talking about the most important you need to know:

( The brain consists of 60% fat )
If you're swedish or understand it, you should take a look at Fredrik PaulĂșn that's talking about this topic. ( Fixed links )

Maybe you just wanna listen to fat, since it's in that he's talking about the brain ( but in 54 min he only talks a few minutes about the brain ^^ )

Thanks for posting this info! When i've got time I'm goign to take a really good look at all this stuff and see how I can get my brain to function more productively
Re: Boost your brain, eat right...
I had some school stuff on that and brain is something complex!
Yeah we must take care of that :O
Just a weird fact: Brain is the only part of your body that knows his own existence! ^^

Re: Boost your brain, eat right...
Yeah, we need food for our brains as well. Taurine rich foods are good. and eating the right food plus a good exercise (playing the piano) makes the brain healthier. ehehh Synapses and stuff. ^_~
Re: Boost your brain, eat right...
The brain actually need about 110g carbohydrates everyday to function at an optimal level. If we dont eat enough carbohydrates, it is forced to steel from other things in our body, and that isnt so good. Just think about all the lowcarbdiets wich are so populare these days.
BUT, chocolate isnt the way to go
Sorry Andrew

Actually this article says that your body convert taurine for your use and it might be beneficial for blood pressure ... so Im not sure how much good would it do to take it But we never know what science is going to come up with.

Very true Maggie. It is back and forth(?) One day its good for you, the next day its bad. Take eggs for an example.
Many years it is told to be unhealthy to eat many eggs because of the high collestrol in it. But, now, a couple years ago the find out that it isnt really dangerous at all. The reason is that the human bodey does not take inn the collestrol. And there isnt really any realtion between high colestrol and high consumtion of eggs :p
Okay, a bit of topic
