Helpful videos for beginners ( scales, chords, improvisations etc.)
HI All,
The video sources on the internet are growing every single of day.
There might be a video what you see but I could not find it or vice versa.
Some people do few minutes lessons ( many case just as an advertisement of their own product - but who cares if you can learn from the intro for free, and maybe you can buy it later - when you will be rich )
So instead of taking lot of time on the net searching for good resources just post which ever you like and soon we will have a nice collection of teaching videos.
Let me start with a recent discovery of mine. It is actually kind of connected pianohama's improvization section.
A 5 year old's jazz piano solo!!! (chord and scale improv)
This looks very simple and in spite of the 1 finger melody line it even sounded good. So have fun improvising your own music!

Piano Lesson C Chord Cadence
This was very helpful for me to see how he navigates from one chord to the other.

Well you are not a beginner anymore so I guess that is why the others did not thrill you too much

Something for the jazz lovers... and for the improvization team
I found a jazz teacher who creates pretty interesting videos
Here is one for the Over the rainbow Enjoy.

Re: Helpful videos for beginners ( scales, chords, improvisations etc.)
This is an other jazz kind of post... ( I know the song is not really exciting but that is not the point here. )
The reason I loved this video because it is an instructional video showing how the chords are building up.
After learning the scales well I need to learn these chord approaches. Hope it helps you too.

Its a good one... But still there are mane others. You could do a good toturial on your favorites. Both strenghtning ones, and tecknical ones?? It doesnt need to take so much time pr hanonex. couse it is easy to rewind. So just go trough them once, while you talk and explane, and it will be a easy and good lesson I defenetly need that lesson, couse I only know 1 and 2. I would like to know at least 10 of the best ones to get started and manage to variate
Well, its an idea
Re: Helpful videos for beginners ( scales, chords, improvisations etc.)
Lets see how can you improvise with chords if you already learnt your scales and chords and arpeggios.
