*** Random ***
I decided to make a new thread, since I found none that have "random" as the title... really, I just want to post what is on my mind.. and discuss it
Today I felt really good about myself, I started out on this musical journey with very little knowledge of music theory and the structure of arrangements, and I realized, I'm pretty dang smart! I think if you're on this forum is because you either:
A.) already have a VAST amount of knowledge and you're willing to exchange ideas and collaborate and grow (even though you're already very bright! )
or
B.) you are here because you are a human sponge, willing to soak up any information that is beneficial to you. So my hats off to you, for being committed to yourself, and your goals. Keep your focus.
I tell myself that constantly, and my progress is amazing. I mean, I'm NO Andrew, but I do feel like the stuff I'm reading is sinking, and it feels great to be able to recall it with such accuracy! Its a big pleasure of mine to watch people learn new things, I think if I wasn't such a novice at piano, I'd be doing the same exact thing as Andrew... teaching everyone that wants to learn.
--
I'm also taking tips from this guy
Oh man.
Bonus:
If you can tell me all the notes he "plays"... I will make you a custom signature.. if you're willing to do it! Hehehehe.
I've also found a forum that gives you The Sims 3 FREE.. but its for Blackberries... so if you have one let me know.

Oh man do you guys get technical.
Alright, SO TECHNICALLY, he's not playing ANY notes, but they are being played SOMEWHERE. Can anyone tell me what notes are being played? I want to teach my cat
Actually no, but I do like the tune and would like to know. (I am a nerd, after all.)
In other news:
If anyone's from Ireland, maybe you saw this?
(video)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/northern_ireland/8113757.stm
"A man has climbed onto the top of the Belfast Wheel.
The man scaled the 200ft structure shortly after 1830 BST on Monday.
At about 2030 BST he left the top of the visitor attraction and made his way towards firefighters making their way up the wheel to rescue him.
He then continued down the rest of the way. The man was subsequently arrested.
There had been people in some of the pods on the wheel, which was halted during the incident.
Roads in the area were closed and a large crowd of people gathered to watch.
The wheel, which is situated in the grounds of Belfast City Hall, offers views across the city.
It is operated by World Tourist Attractions in association with NI's Department for Social Development."
So he climbed a 200ft attraction... only to get arrested. Kinda sucks, but at the same time... WOW. (I can do that with my eyes closed)
That takes a lot of .."guts". Imagine how it must feel looking down from 200ft up in the air and you have NO way of saving yourself in case of a slip.
Intense?
I think so.
