Helloooo~ :D
Hi, I am from England and I am 19 I always wanted to learn a musical instrument as a child but it didn't happen, through many factors like "which one?" and "do i have time?" "Will I stick at it?" "Will parents be supportive?" ...However! Now I am older and I have a part time job which I love incredibly, I am going to buy myself a Yamaha P85 (its seems pretty awesome and not a huge price) and start practicing!
I grew up playing computer games mainly, specifically rpgs like Final Fantasy and have always loved classical pieces and piano. My second favourite instrument is the violin however I don't think it suits me although when great people play them, where they seem to cry and weep, specifically on saddening pieces like Schindler's List I really really fall for them. But Piano for me is where my heart is, because of its diversity, I know it'll open my mind to lots of different types of music. "To Zanarkand" which Andrew has played in one of his videos is exactly how I found him! That piece is one of my goals you see and stumbling upon his channel through his video and finding his lessons really blew my mind away! I didn't realise I could so easily get great tuition for free and from such a nice guy
So anyway, I'm waffling on haha It's fun to be here and exciting to finally be able to express myself on a musical instrument and with Andrews videos, my own experiments and maybe a personal tutor should I feel I need one, I feel happy about my future with piano!
