Hand positioning
Ok so I finally got a power chord for my keyboard and I've been practicing scales, chords etc for 2 days now. I've even got some sheet music for some easy songs, that I can sort of even play (my ability to read music far exceeds my ability to play it). My main problem for these songs is that when i need to change places with my hand when I'm looking at the sheet I always miss the note by a key or two. Are there any exercises or tips you could give me so I can be more accurate with my hands when changing positions. Or is this awareness something that you just have to gain over time?

Re: Hand positioning
It's a bit of both
More practise and time will help you hit notes more accurately.
Good luck! Don't let yourself get discouraged!
