Grades of Pieces, etc.
Hi, am a beginner.. (holding up candle) lol.. actually I started playing about 8 years ago heavily, then quit. Yes, I know, what the heck was I thinking? tell me about it.. to think how far advanced I would be now makes me sick..haha.. any who. I'm back and my passion for learning is giant. I am reviewing all my beginning books now, and was wondering should I just start with Grade 1 and go from there? I can remember pieces of Fur Elise that I knew, and the Entertainer, but there just that.. Pieces.. I'm all pieces... And do music pieces usually say grades on them, or I guess I can refer to some of the lists that are here in the forums.. Sorry, for being long winded for such a simple question..
Thank you all for this forum, And Thank You Andrew for this site and all your hard work and help.. I am truly inspired....

Lesson 40 is like one of my favorites. It doesn't really teach you anything specific, but it teaches you how to learn.... and I've been using it as a guide
