Heey everyone
Hey everyone,
I ran across Andrew's channel on youtube and decided I might as well join his forum ^^
My name's Josh (in case you didn't notice...), am 17 years old (going to be 18 in August), a senior in high school, live in southern California, and have been taking piano lessons for a little over 4 years now (started in Feb. 2005). When I first started, I almost gave it up, but looking back I don't really know why. I took about a 3 month hiatus because I wasn't practicing, but then I finally got back into it and started taking lessons again. I kind of wish I had started earlier, but maybe it's better I didn't, I might have lost interest as a kid and never gone back to it again. I just recently got a new piano thanks to our tuner, a restored 1914 Steinway M which I've pretty much fallen in love with and has encouraged me to practice a lot more. It's a beautiful piano, in looks and sound.
I'd love to be able to teach piano someday, but we'll see about that.
So anyway, I hope I might learn a few new things here and maybe have some useful input of my own.
