Music and Philosophy

Hello there!
First congrats for this great ideea of theaching how to play piano on youtube!
I am not a musician but i love to hear the piano and actually it is a long time ago since i wanted to start learing to play this instrument but did not do it until now. Maybe it is also because i did not find the time or the right teacher
Regarding the title of this topic I want to ask you, and all the others who joined to this forum, what is your opinion about music and philosphy? Do you think that music can lead to philosophical ideas or thoughts? Can we understand something better through music? Do you maybe think that Music and Philosophy have nothing in common, don't fit togheter? What are your thoughts about this topic?

Music has a Great effect on our bodies & souls ..
I'll leave that to Andrew to discuss, as it's directed to him..
