Hi my name is Sean or everyone can call me Naughty Cat lol!

I got my start at music when I was 22 (I wish I would of started earlier in life Sad ) because I needed something to calm my nervous system cause a year earlier I had major back surgery because my back was slipping, so I decided to start by picking up the guitar knowing nothing about music I was able to read the guitar tabs within 1 hour of playing, but I came to the realization that my fringers could not stretch far enough with or without practic so I gave up the guitar (I still play it from time to time) and decided to go with the piano, come to find out that my hands are perfect for the piano, I now enjoy every minute of playing I get.

I have a total of 1 years worth of guitar practic and 6 months of piano practic lol just to put that out there.

Your Friend who is seriously addicted to music,

Sean (a.k.a. Naughty Cat)

That's the good thing with guitar tabs, you dont really need how to learn it before you can read it.
Piano sheets are worse, there you have to memorize what keys they are, weird symbols etc.

Aslong you can reach over an octave at the piano, you're able to do some fancy stretching at the guitar, trust me.
Music is very calming, you get a stronger effect if you play yourself compared to listening to music...
I actually got 1 years and 6 ( 7 ^_^ ) months worth of seriously guitar and keyboard practice as you can see here. ------>

It was actually the guitar that made me get serious with my keyboard.

Then I found Andrews videos on youtube about how to play with both hands, and got even more serious.
It doesnt really matter when you start. Why would anyone start earlier than 22?
Trust me, it's mostly about dedication and how much time you spend.
My brother started at 13, I started at 19. I surpasses him greatly, just because I've dedicated alot of time into playing.

And what would've happened if you started earlier, your life would probably differ alot,
maybe in bad ways, maybe in good. Our life is all about choices we make.

How true Victor life has tought me alot of harsh lessons but in the end its always what you make of it.

If you were to compare my skill with the guitar over the piano hands down I am alot better with the piano and it feels like im just simply putting on a nice fitting glove when I play. bounce

Hiyas NaughtyCat,

Welcome from another piano-guitar-piano music addict

Maybe you shouldn't totally give up on guitar. Just give it a rest. At least rhythm guitar is fun and easier than TABs

Just an idea Very Happy
