Camera Testing

Post by Matthieu Stepec on Sun Jan 10, 2010 7:49 pm

I played some pieces today to test my camera (and to rehearse for my class concert next week...)

Here you go, let me know what you think.

I like your improvisation, very emotional and melodic! The other pieces are too dry for me, or maybe I just don't like the pieces itself.

Hehe, apparently you don't like impressionistic and post-impressionistic french music Wink It's not emotional indeed, but it's expressive. It's also non-tonal, which might be a reason for you to find it odd. I like this kind of music a lot, it's very refined (and very difficult to play... not technically speaking for these two pieces, but rather in term of sound control.)

Anyway thanks for the feedback Wink

I like impressionistic paintings, e.g. this one is in a museum in my town in Cologne:

but you are right, looks like I don't like impressionistic or non-tonal music Very Happy
