I've made 3 new invented scales. They are based off the chromatic scale only they don't have as many notes. Here they are:

Tell me what you think of them. I plan to learn to use these.

Well, I havnt tried them, but I have to ask you if you know the relationship the keys have with each other?? Thats a Very important thing if a Scales are to be useful Smile The notes have to have a meaning besides fitting with the neighbor key or sounding nice for it to be a Good Scale Smile
But you might have thought of this already?!^^

Yup! The
C minor chromatic has the eb because it's minor also it has the ab to make it minor. I call the Gb the diminished 5th note which is what creates the chromatic minor instead of plain harmonic minor.

While the major is a little more complicated: The major chromatic scale derives from the normal major scale only with a Diminished 7th, a diminished 6th and natural 6th, and a diminished 2nd

Your C minor chromatic can work well over C-(maj7) chords.

Your C major chromatic can work better over C7 chords than over Cmaj7 chords.....maybe if you change the Bb to B natural it can function better over the Cmaj7 that you want.

The C blues chromatic sounds nice...!!
