My Roland RD-300GX

I've been busy playing, that's why I'm posting this so late

I was surpriced at how good the keybed was ( love the feeling ), not to heavy, but for sure heavier than some of the old piano's i've playd on.
You can still feel that they're not made of ivory or wood or whatever they use in this century, but I cant expect everything can I?
The 700GX got "Ivory"-keys and a slightly heavier keybed, but as I do play alot I prefer it as they are on the 300GX.
Lighter keys means more practice without injuries ( still, they are not light, but cant match a grand ).

The 300GX is shipped with alot of good sounds, but I do prefer the highly optimized grand sounds.
I love the dynamics, from low to high, and the damper pedal... I do over use it, it's great <3

I havent read the manual yet, the 300GX very easy to understand, so I see no need in it yet.
It cant meassure itself with a real piano, but it's still pretty close, the downside is that it
doesnt have strings and doesnt vibrate or make any sound...
The keybed itself is pretty much perfect, heavy on the left, light on the right ^_^

A quick sound sample of the best grand sound, rusty playing, forgot a few things, but it actually pops up when I play,
I've yet to master the pedal, and I actually forgot the last part of To Zanarkand ( i remember it now tho ):

Congrats Victor! It's a great digital piano. I played around with it at the music store here in Toronto quite a few times, the E. Piano is sampled beautifully and clearly on that keyboard. It sounds very close to a real Fender Rhodes piano. I also love the volume, it can get really loud if you crank it up. I heard the audio sample you uploaded, the sampling of the grand sounds awesome. It's obviously not as close as a real grand piano but I'm really surprised to hear how acoustic the sampling is.

I have one suggestion, buy a stand for the piano. You'll find it more comfortable if it was on a stand instead of a computer desk; unless of course you're using it for MIDI also.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy playing that. Post up some performances soon!

I'm using it fo midi too, but I need something to make my position a bit higher, because my elbows are way over than the keys. I do need to fix this..
And ofcourse get used to dynamics, the weighted keys and the pedal. I hope I'll be able to post some performs soon.

I pretty much use the Surperior Grand all the time, but do play around alittle with all the other stuff too.

Practcing the x-files theme atm... But I'm trying to get those pieces I already had done back to 100% ^_^
