Question about out of tune piano

Okay, so the other day, I was learning how to accent this chord in the Revolutionary Etude by Chopin. I think I accented this chord a little too hard, so one of the notes immediately got out of tune with one play. Besides the out of tune string, did I damage anything else on accident? Like, is it bad for the hammer if I play the note too hard? I need to know so I don't do this again in the future.

mmm i dont rly think so... unless the parts are very old or "loose" (dunno if they can be xD) they shouldnt be damaged. grands and upright are supposed to endure a lot of hammering... like this:

Ha, I saw that video already! The song is crazy! But yeah, I played my note a lot harder than she did. =)

I didn't know you could get one key out of tune if you play it too hard. I better stop messing around with my piano when I'm bored

i love the way valentina lisitsa plays ..she makes it look so simple and effortless ,i also think she expresses very well ..i know my comment has nothing to do with dkchopsuey,s post but had to mention it anyway
