What Piano Piece Should A Beginner Play? Empty What Piano Piece Should A Beginner Play?

Im a beginner. I already know Canon in D and Minuet in G. Im tried to play Fur Elise, but I find it hard since my organ is just a 49-key.

I was planning on playing Ode to Joy, Claire De Lune, Pathetique, Moonlight Sonata.

But yeah, I think I dream too much.

So what piece should I play first before anything else?

It all depends on the time you want to put into it and your talent.
I say go for it if you feel that its what you really want. Moonlight sonata is considered harder than The Theme of Fur Elise, but a lot easier than the solos. Im not sure about those other two, but I think Ode to Joy is a easy piece?!

I think you should always aim abow what you think you can do, then you'll see that the limitations might be only in your head Wink ... maybe, hehe Smile

@Thomandy: I got a problem in Fur Elise.. Cause my organ is only 49-key, and theres a part there where there is a 5th octave to be used.

Ode to Joy? I cant find any music sheet of that. I only found the super easy music sheet.
