I am learning some random stuff, so I found Flight of the bumble bee sheet music. I have found some thingy and i don't know what it means. I have seen this while playing Turkish march, and I have just ignored it and it sounded nice to Embarassed but while playing this it doesn't, so please can anyone answer me what does it mean..

That note, I made a some red square around it , thanks

Ah, that sign Smile It is called a neutral-sign. What you see just before that , the same note is sharpened (raised one semitone) and the neutral-sign tells you to dont mind that Sharp anymore.

General rule: All accidentals like sharps # and flats b ect last to the end of the bar it is written in. But when a neutral arrives at a sharpened or flatted key ect then they end at the neutral.

Also neutrals might accour if you got sharps in the key signature ect, and then the neutral last to the end of the bar aswell like all accidentals, and everything is back to normal after the barline. Smile

One more thing:
How long have you played piano?? Cause as you might know this is a grade 8+ piece.
And Im thinking that you might have problems playing it since your knowledge about theory hasnt reached the neutral-sign yet Smile Just something to think about Smile
