Interesting scales? Empty Interesting scales?

Hello there mr Andrew Smile

I was wondering if you have any interesting type of scales to share? I heard something about a diminíshed scale or something like that? And whats the difference between a harmonical and melodic scale? =) And I was wondering something else, if I play a melodic scale in C Major, can I modulate to C Major diminished scale or something like that and make it sound good?

Thanks in advance,

Hey there Smile well

I'm sure you know what the harmonic and melodic scales are. If not you can check that out on piano lesson #26 i think?

anyways a diminished scale is a scale used mainly in jazz piano it's used by building the scale on alternating whole tones then half tones.

Here's a good link that explains it in more detail. Smile
