I read on your Youtube channel that you learned to play piano without lessons.
My question: Really there is a 'magic' method for coordinating both hands?

I'm learning with the method Beyer and Hannon. But it is making me very hard, and my teacher has exhausted his patience Sad

Practice, practice and more practice. I remember struggeling alot with this, this problem was actually how I found Andrew's video's in the first place.

Start very slow, and increase the speed when you feel you're ready to speed up, that how I do it when practicing pieces. I havent done alot of other exercises for the coordination, but Thomandy should be more experienced in that field. I just never felt the need for it.

After a while, relatively speaking, you'll pick up pieces faster and get able to coordinate the hands better.

Thank you!!! Smile

But, you're referring to pieces, play musical pieces. But I have exercises, for dexterity and finger strength, and correct position of these, arms and hands, muscle relaxation necessary and especially control auditory and muscular to get a beautiful sound, consistency and safety in my performance. All this will be evaluated

For coordination, practice both hands TOGETHER, not separately. That's the trick... It forces you to slow down even more, I know, but at least it works.

Hi there! Smile The more you practice hands together, the easier it becomes! Slow practice is the keyword, for sure!
If you go to fast, you will make more mistakes, stop more and just learn wrongness from the beginning.

One Ex you can try is: Play a a cale - C major.. First both hands, then with a twist when you know it well.
Do one hand Legato and the other Staccato. Thats at least a start, let me know if it was helpful or not Smile
