Hi, i started playing around with this one last week. Here is my advice for you:

the first thing is to work the fingering out. Figure it out hands seperate and slow. You gotta do this before you really start practicing it.

Once you have that done and the part you're working on memorized, play with both hands at a very slow speed. If you're making mistakes, then you're going too fast, even if it feels like you're already going really slow. Starting off really slow with this one seems to be important.

Hope that helps.

I think I am. Question Sometimes I deviate from what is shown, but not often. The suggestion for the very first 5 right hand notes was pretty helpful! (using the thumb)

where are you right now in the piece? i have my long way to go..
I'm in the process of memorizing the last section. Once I have the whole thing memorized I hope to be able to work on it section by section, a little every night.

can you get the right speed?
NO! Very Happy well, not yet at least. Wink I still have troubles playing certain sections hands together even at very slow speeds, but that's just part of the learning process. I'll feel a lot better once I have it memorized.

These are the steps I'm shooting for:
- finish memorizing
- get each section perfect many times at very slow speed.
- slowly dial up the tempo

My goal is to be playing it well by February of next year. 3 months doesn't sound too bad. Very Happy

He was asking for the bar in which the rest is.

Usually a rest standing above or below a note means that there is a second voice that is silent at this moment.
