Hi Smile

I got a tip on youtube about this notation software. Its FREE Smile
And my first impression is that this is A LOT better than Finale(Which no longer is free)

Its called Muse Score and the link takes you directly to the download-page Smile

http://musescore.org/en/download

Edit: Tried it some, and it seams a bit hard at least to get used to, and some small tricky and strange things Razz But Ill try some more, hopefully the awkwardness goes away when I get used to it Smile

Edit2: Yeah, found out a thing that made my trickyness/awkwardness go away Smile

Yeah, its a little higher learning-curve than Finale.
But now I really enjoy using it Smile

I use MuseScore as well. It's real easy to learn.
I use version 0.9.5, which is marked as an "unstable prerelease", but it's actually more stable and works better than the previous version I used.

Even if you don't plan to compose music as such, it is a great help to be able to make your own little arrangements. Often times, the sheets available for whatever music you want to play (and I'm always looking for the free stuff) isn's quite what you want, and you make some changes to how you play it. Or you can't find sheet music at all, and have to figure out the tune yourself on the keys. Having the ability to write it down, makes the process a lot easier, and you'll have it for future reference, or can share it with others.

Great piece of software, and I'm still amazed that it's FREE.
