Help finding out about a song?

I'm learning the piano part to this fantastic song, but I have absolutely no information about it, not even it's name. I've got the song in MIDI format, and am using a MIDI program to figure out the notes, but I would prefer sheet music. The most I've been able to find is two MIDI files of the piano solo, both with entirely different names. I have the full version of the MIDI, but it was called demo.mid. I can't provide a link to it because a friend sent it to me. It's about 4 minutes in length. I was hoping someone on here has heard the song and can tell me the name. If not, that's okay. But I'm really dying to learn more about this song.

I think I've heard it before, I can't quite place it though... sounds like something out of a video game that i haven't played in a long time, but I can't quite think of it... a sonic game maybe? This is gonna drive me nuts!

Funny. Everybody I ask about the song always say it sounds familiar.

Yeah, totally sounds like a video game. Could very well be Sonic the Hedgehog. Does sound familiar.
