i'm stuck.

ok. to start, i haven't been practising as much as i should in the first place. i've been trying to learn through a book, and also through andrew's videos. the book fails to demonstrate fingering techniques in detail. i was wondering how you know when to stretch, when to jump, when to cross over. where your hand position should be during certain parts.

i wanna avoid the music being choppy, or running out of fingers when i have 3 more notes to the right to play. could somebody help me out?

well it depends. if the key is in range of ur fingers u can stretch, otherwise jump but there are sometimes when there comes a difficult part right after it so then u might wanna make a jump you automatically learn those parts whats easiest while u learn the piece

Hm.. but it can be tricky to. But you just got to spend some time with the thought of: How am I gona make this easyest as possible. And try to get as many sheets in the beginning that has fingering! Look a bit ekstra for them. And stick to the fingerng is my tips. You might find it easyer in the beginning to to slightly different fingering. But belive me, its easyer after some days. And then you have a bigger fingeringskillreportoare. And that is handy when starting harder pieces!!

so, just do what makes the piece easiest? that sounds very simple, actually. so, you must practise the piece. i was thinking it would be very hard for you to think of the fingering while playing it for the first time.

You'll have to ask yourself; "Do I wanna take the long road, or the short?"

Its all about taking the shortest way, lets say you wanna play C and
then G... You dont play both with your thumb, then you'll have to add
alot of movement, and basically move your whole hand and arm...

Instead you can just use thumb for C and pinky for G, then you
suddenly dont need to move anything, just your fingers..
